Mouth Pieces

I offer custom made mouthpieces for historical clarinets and basset horns. The right mouthpiece is key to good intonation, response and sound.

I make mouthpieces in the historical style modeled after originals by Lotz, Griesbacher and Grenser.

The width of the lay is generally made to match modern German or Viennese reeds, but can be wider or narrower.

All mouthpieces are made from grenadilla (African blackwood).
